Carnival

The class has been busy preparing for the coming carnival and I wish them all the best in running the stalls. Of course we hope to earn as much out of this so that we can contribute more to the school. But what is more important is the building of class spirit and working as a team!

I am so sorry that I am not able to join in the fun during the preparation as I have to get ready for the Shanghai trip and in fact, I will not be around with the class. SO SAD. Sob. Sob. But I am sure the class will deliver. There are so many capable and responsible ones in the class.

Hmm... however, there is a disapponted part to this. I am actually aware of some (who have appeared to be and supposed to be responsible) taking advantage of my absence. I shall not elaborate but I am indeed disheartened when kept informed of such behaviour. The influence of friends? The lack of clear personal goal? The lack of character? I hope the person who has been trying to be adventurous will have the courage to be yourself!

Majority of the class is simply superb. You have definitely met my expectation and I look forward to an enjoyable tea party with all of you when I am back from the Shanghai trip. Take care!

Just woke up after e medication wears off. So I have decided to blog! Wow, second time in a week, not bad!

CONGRATULATIONS to all of you who have improved! I am so proud to announce to the P6 teachers that I have many of you scoring A for EL! Not easy with so many components to be taken into consideration. Well, it is always tougher to get A* for EL and SC in school... there are so many A* for the entire level for Math and MT.... so for those who are not going to see A* on the slip to be given in a few hours time, no worries, as there will only be 1 A* for EL and 1 A* for SC for the entire level!

Yeh! Holiday is coming... can have long weekend before going back to school again in less than a week's time. Going anywhere? Nope! Printing tons of WS for my dearest 'ANGELS... muah ha ha (learn this from Wi Leen's tag). My middle name is EVIL - as what some of them have addressed me.

In actual fact, most of the WS are already printed and the revision plan has long started. I don't believe in quantity work without quality too. So folks, do produce your QUALITY work for the next few weeks!!!!! MUAH HA HA HA HA HA!

Prelim is over and the class is now moving into the final preparation for the PSLE. I am rather satisfied with the general performance of the class as hard work has really paid off for majority of the pupils. There are always a few who choose not to heed the advice of teachers and show their attitude in the exam. These pupils really make my blood boil and I have chosen to be affected by these minority... so silly of me.

In fact, I should be celebrating the achievement of those who have made improvement and shown me that you have taken another big step forward in gearing up for the PSLE. Well done to many of you - especially Dillon, Siew Yeng, Magdalene, Vivian, Siong Yee, Charmaine and Xue Hui. Some of you have also overcome your fear and moved a grade higher - Nicholas, Adlina, Yu Chen, Jeffrey and Jing Yi. Of course there are many more... just keep up the good work!

I will try my best to work with all of you and at the same time, pray that your diligence will pay off. Stay focused! We can do it!

I have to be reminded by the creator of this blog that I am absolutely under-utilising my blog... :P Sorry lah, so busy... as usual. All teachers claim to be busy and sometimes, we may not be even sure why and what we are busy about.

Hmmm. I am so touched by the fact that many of you still remember my b'dae. It was especially fun when to have a mini celebration after the common marking (composition of course)! It was a surprise and it was very touching to know that one of my kakis got her husband to drive her out to get a cake. Also, Ms Poh came all the way to deliver her gift and slice of cake. Great friends.... so emotional .... cos this may be the ..... Oh, confidential. Will tell you people when green light is given. Ha, I like to create suspense. Hee.

I had 'fun' testing oral and sincerely hope that all my pupils score well. YOU GUYS TALK SO MUCH IN CLASS! But it was fun listening to you guys talk, relevantly or irrelevantly.

Oh, I'm SOOOOOOOO PROUD of all of you on National Day celebration! I LOVE my dearest 6A!!!! I really didn't expect all of you to go up as promised and delivered the skit so well. I have been telling teachers whom I have the chance to speak to that you guys drafted the skit, prepared the song and even came up with the dance steps. A superb performance by a super united class. YEH!!! And you guys were so spontaneous on the sing-along session that you are basically leading the school. I enjoyed myself greatly and I am sure the memories will stay.

Yeh! I managed to survive week 1, yes! Imagine I was so tired by Wed that I actually slept from 5 p.m. til 5.30 a.m. of the following day! Super deprived? Mentally tired out? Guess it's a combination of both.

Managed to give myself some 'free' time to post class and personal blog. Kind of fun actually. But probably won't spend equivalent amount of time like my class. Can't match their standard now, getting old. Ha!

Come to accept the fact that different teacher has varied styles and pupils associate to them differently. However, we shall not live in the shadow of others and should simply be ourselves. Hmm... comment on this more on another day. Time to go!

Overwhelmed!

Term 3 has started and everyone at the level is busy preparing for prelim and PSLE. With the addition of admin load, I am kind of 'freaking' out as I am not sure if I can deliver the same quality work given the tight deadlines and amount of work to be done....

Luckily, the class is not adding on to my level of stress as I find majority of them more settled and serious in gearing for the coming exam. Though they are serious at work, I still get to hear their laughters and see them running wildly during recess time. Good! At least no one is showing signs of burning out.

Sigh... been spending time talking to people and has no time to mark... yet the class needs the book tomorrow... Arrrrrhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! A pleasant surprise in the morning while I was checking my mails. Received an invitation to 6A blog and end up... some one has been so kind to know that I am clueless when it comes to blogging and created a blog for me. Ha!

Well, question now is: Can anyone in the class also post entries? Or they can simply tag? So, it kind of show that I belong to a rather old generation of human beings right?
